The EFC has created several handbooks which provides lots of information for fencers and their parents. Be sure to take a look!
The EFC has a volunteer policy requiring a commitment of 4 volunteer hours per competitive level fencer per fencing term. Each hour also gives you a chance to win a discounted membership in our volunteer draw at the end of term.
The Board of Directors of the Edmonton Fencing Club is made up of volunteer members, including past and present fencers and parents of fencers.
EFC has many fencers that are regularly moving up the rankings, both provincially and nationally. They are all training hard to beat their personal bests this season. Check out the rankings on the Alberta Fencing Association and Canadian Fencing Federation websites.
The most recent competitors in the prestigious Cadet and Junior World Championships are Jane Caulfield, Daniel Gu, and Spencer McPhedran. They are working hard towards qualifying again in 2017-2018.

We would like to highlight a few of the achievements of our athletes returning from nationals and extend our congratulations. Daniel Gu won gold in a dominant fashion in Junior Men's Foil as well as earning silver in the Senior Event. Jane joined Daniel on the top of the podium on Saturday, taking her own gold in Cadet Women's Foil. Will Sacuta finished Saturday with a bronze in Junior Men's Saber, climbing from 19th to 4th in the tableau. Eddie Guo also fought his way to a bronze in the Cadet Men's Foil event on Monday, rocketing from 23rd to 4th.
We extend additional thanks to all the fencers who went on the trip; you were all fitting representatives of EFC in both fencing and character. Congratulations!
