NEW VOLUNTEER POLICY TAKES EFFECT FOR WINTER TERM 2018, PLEASE CLICK TO READ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Edmonton Fencing Club is a non-profit sports organization that depends on our amazing volunteers to operate and run smoothly!
As per our new volunteer policy, all fencers registered in two or more classes a week must pay an $80 volunteer deposit fee each term. Once the fencer (or family members) complete 4 hours of volunteer services for the club then at the end of the term the $80 will be returned. This fee will be collected at the beginning of each term's registration, if you are paying online then the $80 will already be included in the class price (at the end of the term, if the 4hrs of volunteer are completed then $80, minus a $5 administration fee for a total of $75, will be returned to the fencer). If you are choosing to pay cash OR cheque for classes, please post-date a volunteer cheque to the end of the term (MAY 2018), this cheque will be returned as long as the 4hrs of volunteer service are completed before the last day of classes. If 4hrs are not completed by May 16, 2018 then $80 will be cashed or not returned. Opportunities for volunteer hours will be posted at the fencing club and online. We are using a program called https://signup.com for online signups for bingos, casinos and other important volunteer events.
